Big thanks to all that joined us this evening at our AGM we really appreciate your input and feedback on the 2024 season it means a lot.

Now onto some super exciting news, we can finally announce for 2025! We are over the moon to announce the return of Mid Sussex legend Paul Roeton as our club chairman for the upcoming 2025 season, for those of you who know Paul you will know his credentials and he needs no introduction, for those that don’t he previously successfully ran Mid Sussex for a number of years in the past and brings with him a raft of experience and knowledge of running the club. Since standing down in 2019 to concentrate on his ACU career he’s been travelling world as an ACU official attending events in various countries in many different varieties of off road disciplines. He is still active in this role but much to our delight he has found the time to come back onboard for 2025 and we welcome him back with open arms welcome home Paul!

The good news doesn't stop there! We also are elated to announce that Jason Thorpe will also joining the committee for 2025 as vice chairman alongside Paul, many of you know Jason from previously being chairman of Gest MCC and brings with him a raft of experience in club management and not to mention being a local track prep extraordinaire! We are in for a treat in 2025! He will be a great asset to the club moving forward into the new season and we can’t wait to work with him, welcome on board Jason.

 

The following committee roles have also been appointed for the upcoming season and will need no introduction to existing members they are as follows:

Media Secretary - Dave Parker

General committee - Alex York

General committee - Stuart Matten

 

It’s going to be an epic year guys and girls and we can’t wait to get started! If you wish to join us for the 2025 season membership is now open on the ACU Portal to existing members until the 13th December when it then opens to all, get in quick guys it’s going to be a busy year, the costs are as follows:

Annual membership £50 and £10 per additional family member. New auto members join free of charge.

10x rounds and 1x drop round, calendar's already been published on our socials, save the dates.

Following a track inspection this afternoon we still plan to run the last round of the championship this Sunday, the weather looks good over night and through tomorrow the final call will be made tomorrow afternoon by the landowner, we will update you as soon as the inspection is carried out.

In an effort to save the paddock and entrance road for Sundays meeting there will unfortunately be NO CAMPING Saturday night to give the ground as much chance as possible to dry. Any one attempting to gain access before Sunday morning will be asked to leave immediately.
